Mission Statement

Pampered Pooch is an innovative new approach to caring for your furever best friend!!! Our Guests are treated like Royalty as being a valued member of our family from our Grooming, Daycare, Boarding, and Training Division.

The goal is for all dogs to love coming to The Pampered Pooch. The focus of time and bonding with the dogs is to make them feel that The Pampered Pooch is their home away from home whether just getting groomed, training classes, or boarding overnight. Continued education is the key to making sure the The Pampered Pooch is utilizing the newest and most innovative steps to allowing you and your dog to “Live the Best Life Possible” with each other.

We are the most important thing in their life. Let us show them how they are the most important thing in ours. Pawsitively without a doubt, WE LOVE YOUR DOG!!!

Meet The Team

Deb Woods - Owner

Deb has been an avid animal lover her whole life. Raised with dogs and horses, she found she had a bond with the animals with an unspoken connection. As a voice and advocate for animals, she has focused in on dogs and loves working with the Joplin Humane Society to assist in whatever they may need assistance with from training to providing some supplies.

Working in Business, Deb spent her career assisting entrepreneurs building and expanding companies. In 1999 she focused on obtaining her Real Estate License and launched her career in being of service to others in obtaining their dreams. Helping others has been her focus. Deb had a nagging dream that kept coming up in the back of her mind. Then in 2010, after going out of town and boarding her Beauxregard at the same location of Daycare, the kennel tech told her that as each of his friends went home, his head would hang lower and lower, and when they all left by 7:00 pm and turned out the lights that he cried terribly. WELP, THAT DID IT! The Pampered Pooch moved from a nagging dream to a reality in December 2015.

Anastacia Stephens - Pet Stylist

Anastasia has been a member of our team since July 2019. She is unbelievable. She started as a bather and has transformed into a great pet stylist. She loves what she does and it shows. The dogs respond to her which makes a pleasurable groom for each dog that is on her table. Anastasia is our worker. She competes in crossfit and for her tiny stature can out work most guys. We are so fortunate to have her as part of our team

Sherry Pierce - Pet Stylist

Sherry has been a groomer for over 25 years. She was a grooming manager at PetSmart for over 13 years before moving to a local vet where she groomed for another 13 years. Sherry is our small dog specialist. If there is any time that we need extra help, Sherry is always to be counted on. Sherry is a valued member of our team.

Asa Boykin - Bather

"For as long as I can remember, I've been surrounded by animals. I love learning all that I can about them and taking in all the knowledge possible!

I have a German Shepherd named Nellie (my favorite breed) that I love to take hiking and train in my free time. I'm also an artist and love to draw wildlife!

Sasha Sloniker - Pet Stylist / Office Manager

Hi! My name is Sasha! I am from Carthage Missouri. I have two very spoiled and loved dogs named Granger and Duke. I have always had a passion for all animals but dogs are for sure number one on my list.

I am proud to be apart of the pampered pooch team were everyone feels like family and I get to spend every day with all breeds of dogs!

Anna Chester - Pet Stylist

My name is Anna, and I have been grooming for 7 years. I started grooming for my love of animals and have never looked back. I have two senior chihuahuas named Rusty and Tanzey. I recently moved back to the area after grooming in Kansas City for two years. I groom any size dog, big or small and I am is also pet CPR certified through Pet Tech.

Veronica Pardo - Pet Stylist

I am Verónica Pardo, an Ecuadorian groomer. I have 24 years of experience in the world of grooming. In Ecuador, I won several grooming competitions. This led me to train at a school in Spain and then open my own grooming training school in Ecuador.

I am part of the Alianz Canine Worldwide team, which has a presence in more than 90 countries around the world. I am qualified as a judge for cynophilia and grooming competitions. For 25 years, I was a reference in the world of dogs in Ecuador with my company Petsplaza. In 2023, I moved to the United States because I gave love a second chance and got married. I continue to train and educate groomers. I am passionate about working in this wonderful world and teaching the art of grooming.
